Last class, we went over some of the classmates twitterives. Everyone who went did a very nice job and were all different in their own style. Through the workshop, it was beneficial to me because I was able to see how others created their project along with how their place is expressed. I was able to use the feeback the class gave to otehrs as feedback for my own twitterive. Also, by speaking with Prof. Mangini I was albe to understnad my place and what I've been working on really isnt my place. The workshops are very helpful because it allows the person who is presneting see other classmates viewpoints and perspectives which may allow them to see something that the presenter didn't see.  Overall its a great way to gain feedback and others opinions which can help with the final creation of the twitterive.

Class on Monday was a big help for myself even though I wasnt presenting my twitterive to the class because I analyze the others twitterive which helped me look into my own twitterive. I have been struggling with my twitterive for a while now and still am but by looking at others I was able to see how I might want to construct my twitterive. Another things is, I enjoyed everyone's presentation on Monday. I thought they were done very well for being their first draft. By the presenter's asking myself and other students questions regarding their project helped me with what I would want to know about mine as well. Overall, the presentation helped me see others ideas and creativeness which help me create some of my pieces in my work.
Everyone who went on Mon

1.) Does the genre's work and flow well into one another.
2.) Is the introductory of my twitterive give enough detail and information?
3.) Does the picture story flow well where it is in the twitterive?
4.) Is there something I'm missing?
5.) Is my place clear ?

Today in class we were put into groups to discuss our twitterive with each other aong with answer some questions regarding our project. The questions that were asked regarding my text include the following:
1.) Who are the characters in your story
My twin sister, Denise, also called Nise, and myself are the characters in my story.
2.) What is your story? What genres are you using for your story?
My story is undefined, it is about my sisters addiction. Genres that are included in my story are letters, poems, narative, song lyrics, video, serenity prayer, passage from book, and photos.
3.) When does your story take place?
My story takes place from the past to the present. ( as of now)
4.) Where is your place?
My place is not a physical place. The place is addicition.
5.) Why do you feel a connection/ lack of connection to place?
I feel connected to this place because the story includes my sister, who is family, along with real life events.
6.) How do you show your audience your connection/ lack of connection to place?
I'm showing my audience my connection to this place through the tone of my genres, genres itself, and through the suspense.

Recap on workshop:
The workshop was very helpful and gave me guidance and advice to where I can go with my twitterive. The comments and feedback I received allowed me to explain my rationale and gain other perspectives and their thoughts of how I could create this story. I received very informative information that helps me better see where I want to take this story and how I actually want to portray this story to my audience. I also thought by having my group refer to the movie, " Black Swan." helped me how I want my audience to see this and to really think about my writing when reading this. After going over my twitterive with the group I am a little mor confident in my story but also nervous because I don't want to disappoint their expectations with my final twitterive. Overall, I received a lot of feeback and advice that will help me construct why I am doing this and how important this story is to me. THANKS GROUP! :)

For writing, research, and technology we are to create this multigenre piece about "place." Place can be either physically or mentally.  As, I began to tweet, I notice my tweets all have a comon trait, that is my twin sister Denise who we call Nise. Right before class began, I just flew home from being with her in California. I began to gather all my tweets and have collected the ones that all have the common interest, Nise. I don't want to let you know exacltey what I am writing about because I rather you guess what it's about. So, here is a outline of my ideas.
I. Prologue- introductory of my sister and the scenario
2- Letter from my sister/ video of sister
3- Webster defintion
4- Passage from book
5- Song lyrics
6- Serenity prayer
7- Poem
8- Letter from me to my sister/ video of me
9- obiturary
10- song
11- pictures will be throughout the narrative

Technology on WRT2

Technology played a huge role in building the health forms for which I played the ringside docor. In order for me to be able to  create a medical history of each contender I had to do research on what type of injuries a arm wrestling could cause on one. Along with the injuries I needed to also lok up types of enhancement or drugs the contenders could take that would effect their performance and whether or not they were legal or illegal. By having technology play a huge part in my role made me gather resources I needed that would later be reflected in my health forms I created. The format of the medical form also was from technology due to the fact I had to look up what a form looks like and a free tempalte to use. I checked other classmates blogs in order to gather some information about the contenders to include in my part. A huge part that technology helped with was when I needed to attach my document to weebly because I was having difficulty attacing it. Withouot being able to twitter classmates and look up information on attaching on the weebly I woouldnt of been able to attacah or share with other classmates. Technology played a major role in my contributions to this project and was a great resource and tool.

WRT2 and Multigenre

This project was a create and fun way of learning mutlgenre. This project incorporated the classmates to work together, interact with one, and help each other to produce one major creation. Each student played a different role in the title match which each classmate produced a different type of genre which created a multigenre project. Each classmate is responsibile to creae their own piece so if one is incomplete the whole proect could be unsuccessful. I also like this idea project because being a education major, I am always seeking new things to do when I have my own class or in my field experiences now. It shows that the students need towork together to produce a final project even thou each students work is their own and could be its own product without the others. This activity was a great way for us to see multigenre used in a fun interactive way with classmates along with learning different types of genres. I really enjoyed this activity more than when I was first introduced to it honestly.

For this assignment each student was assigned a character. My character is the ringside doctor for the arm wrestling match. Here I posted medical history forms for each boxer.

Here are some six word stories from my tweets. I used parts of my tweets and combined them to create six word stories. I also created some six word stories not from my tweets.  Hope you enjoy!

So over it. Tomorrow be better.

Being engaged. Overrated. Why me?

Drunk driving.. good news... just texting.

Today...a new day...so smile.

Can't breathe...can't sleep...school tommorrow.

Her kiss...sends people to clinics.

Pouring out... No umbrella. Bad day?

Homemade gnoochi's, happy hour...Love Sunday's!

Feeling lonely...missing you....Love you.

Heart breaks, watching you be upset.

Big hands. Big feet. Big disappointment!

This microfiction was written and inspired by the line from, Narrators Life. The line I used was, " These shared stories made us friends."

Lost Soul

John was a troubled boy who was dealing with many hardships and obstacles in
life. He had lost all his friends growing up and went down a wrong path. It
didn’t matter what he did or said he was doing what he wanted to. He was faced
with a life threatening decision that he could only make for himself. He didn’t
know what to do and was more on the defensive side than anything. He would be
lonely all the time without anyone to talk to because no one understood what he
was going through. Everyone could say inspirational or motivating things but it
didn’t matter because he knew they really didn’t understand. “
“How could anyone understand without actually going through what I did?”, he
thought to himself.
As time went on he would become more lonely. John received a phone call from
a stranger that wanted to meet him. He went to meet this person and didn’t say
anything. The other man began talking to him and telling him a story about
himself. John was shocked because the man didn’t even know me but was opening
up. He spilled everything and all I could think of was my life. After the man
was finished, John started talking. John couldn’t believe that someone has gone
through what he is dealing with. All John could think of was how this man
stories changed his life and how these shared stories made them friends for a
life time.

For this assignment I was a little confused and doubting because I don't feel I write that well nor enjoy writing stories. Hopefully you enjoy this. Here I wrote a microfiction based off of one of my tweets. The tweet I used was , " When life hands you lemons make lemonade."

Michelle was a nineteen year old girl struggling with
a heroin addiction. She was having a hard time with her addiction. Her family
was very supported of her and tried helping. Michelle was not having it.
Through family talks and counseling she decided she needed to move to California
for help. She found a rehab home to help her through this process. She wasn’t
too happy with moving so far away from family but knew this was her last chance
of getting better. She was nervous going to a new place and not having anyone to
go to. While being in California, she had many struggles . She wanted to come home
but her family wouldn’t allow it. She didn’t understand the meetings nor felt
comfortable. She would call her mom  crying on the phone pleading to come home.

Her mother told her, “ Hunny its going to be okay, you need to do this.”

“ I know but I don’t like it here, I can‘t do it.” Michelle said.

Her mother continued to talk to her and left the conversation with, “ Shell
when life hands you lemons make lemonade.”

“ What?” Shell asked.

“ Hun it will come to you.”

That night Michelle decided to speak at her meeting and open up about her
addiction. Its been four years since Michelle moved to California and everyday
she thinks of her mother and what she said to her four years ago that changed
her life.
