First thing I want to say is that I was very happy with my presentation of my twitterive. I thought I was going to cry or breakdown since it is such a personal story but I didn't. It actually was a little relieving. Everybody's feedback was very helpful and is taking in consideration. it helped me see others perspective and opinions of my project that I couldn't see. When presenting my twitterive I was a little confused of what my place is and had so many ideas in my head. After the class and their feedback I really came to the conclusion that my place is my sister's keeper. So, here are some of the changes and editing I will be doing to my twitterive:

1.) Including more of my voice- I didn't realize until presentation that the audience really didn't get to hear my voice or see how I felt during this moment of my life. I want this story to be my story so I am going to include more of my voice throughout my twitterive. I will show myself by including a letter to my sister, poems, and stream of consciousness.
2.) Including more dark times- I want the audience to really get the feeling I was feeling during this time and how important my sister is to me. I am planning on writing a skit of an intervention scene I went through with my sister, a poem about her withdrawel and seeing her pretty much die inside, and our car ride we shared and she got kicked out of rehab and I went to pick her up.
3.) Prologue- I will rewrite my prologue so its clearer to the audience what my place is. Also, I will explain to the audience that some of the writing pieces are from my sister, Nise.
4.) Chip- Some were confused by this so I was planning on taking Prof. Mangini's advice and write what I see when I see this chip. To me its a reminder of the bad and the good and how we should live day by day.
5.) I'm coming home video- Some also seemed confused by this, if I meant she was coming home literally or metaphorically. I meant metaphorically, in the sense of my sister being who is was and the past is the past and her kingdom( family) awaits her coming. She finally realized she needs help and she's getting it. Since that was a little confusing I am planning on including her rehab admittance so the audience can understand why I included that song. I love that song and it reminds me of my sister every-time I hear it.

The above is what I will be working on this upcoming week for my 3rd draft. I really appreciate the feedback and advice from the class. I will take all the feedback in consideration when editing my twitterive. This project means a lot to me because it's about my sister and I want the audience to understand my story and why I portrayed it the way I did. So thank you again all!

So let me start of by saying this reading was extremely long and dragging. Of course I expected a long reading due to the fact that all of my writings art courses involved long reasdings! So. the point of me reading this was to get a understanding of what narrative inquiry is and the difference between qualitative and quantitive. When I first heard those words I predicted it add to be about the quality and the amount of narrative writing. Qualitative researches use words in their analaysis while quantative researches use numbers for data.
This reading is mainly about comparing narartive inquiry in the use of words to number data. It seems to me that word data comes off better and more positive because others can relate and then have an input to the data and the word data focuses on particular events. This reading dicussing the four turns of narrative inquiry which inlcudethe following: Relationship of researcher and researched, from numbers to words as data, from the general to the particular, and blurring knowing.
This reading was confusing and had to go back through the article to try to fully understand what exacltey is narrative inquiry.

My plan for my second draft of my twitterive to include some media. I havent been able to figure out the techonology part, but finally have. I want to include a photo story of my place. I feel that adding pictures to my twitterive will help the  audience see my place and see the conenction I have with my place. Another revision I will do to my twitterive is adding more genres to the piece. I want to add more lyrics to song throughout my twitterive, along with a birthday card, and letter to my pace, serenity prayer, and a scrapbook page of a great vacation. I feel by adding these piece it will add to my twitterive and enhance what I want the outcome of my twitterive to become. This project is very presonal to me and I am putting a lot of thought into it because I want the final outcome to be what I pictured. Another piece I am adding to my twitterive is an actual conversation I had with my sister on skype. The video is really neat and will show the audience why I have this feeling towards this person and how were so alike in so many ways. Thie twitterive will be a working progress throughout the rest of the semster with adding and taing this out. As long as I represent my twitterive the way its supposed to me looked at I will be happy. Those are my plans for my twitterve and hope everyone enjoys it!

Throughout this twitterive project, I have been introduced to new programs online to incorporate a new genre in my twitterive. Yet, this hasnt been the easiest thing for me since none of the programs I'm using seems to be working or allowing me to put onto my twitterive. I'm getting very frustrated with this due to not being able to understand how to upload all these different things onto my project. Yet, another day I can't present because I have nothing to offer. It's not all negative towards technology because if it wasn't for skype, I wouldnt be able to talk to my sister and record it for my twitterive which I really wanted to incorporate. Technology is enhancing everyday and new things are evolving. I just don't know if I can keep up. I thought doing this project would be not that difficult but I come to find out theres been a problem everytime I want to add something or even work on it.
What's neat was that I could incorporate music, videos, and pictures throughout my twitterive.

Last class, we went over some of the classmates twitterives. Everyone who went did a very nice job and were all different in their own style. Through the workshop, it was beneficial to me because I was able to see how others created their project along with how their place is expressed. I was able to use the feeback the class gave to otehrs as feedback for my own twitterive. Also, by speaking with Prof. Mangini I was albe to understnad my place and what I've been working on really isnt my place. The workshops are very helpful because it allows the person who is presneting see other classmates viewpoints and perspectives which may allow them to see something that the presenter didn't see.  Overall its a great way to gain feedback and others opinions which can help with the final creation of the twitterive.

Class on Monday was a big help for myself even though I wasnt presenting my twitterive to the class because I analyze the others twitterive which helped me look into my own twitterive. I have been struggling with my twitterive for a while now and still am but by looking at others I was able to see how I might want to construct my twitterive. Another things is, I enjoyed everyone's presentation on Monday. I thought they were done very well for being their first draft. By the presenter's asking myself and other students questions regarding their project helped me with what I would want to know about mine as well. Overall, the presentation helped me see others ideas and creativeness which help me create some of my pieces in my work.
Everyone who went on Mon

1.) Does the genre's work and flow well into one another.
2.) Is the introductory of my twitterive give enough detail and information?
3.) Does the picture story flow well where it is in the twitterive?
4.) Is there something I'm missing?
5.) Is my place clear ?

Today in class we were put into groups to discuss our twitterive with each other aong with answer some questions regarding our project. The questions that were asked regarding my text include the following:
1.) Who are the characters in your story
My twin sister, Denise, also called Nise, and myself are the characters in my story.
2.) What is your story? What genres are you using for your story?
My story is undefined, it is about my sisters addiction. Genres that are included in my story are letters, poems, narative, song lyrics, video, serenity prayer, passage from book, and photos.
3.) When does your story take place?
My story takes place from the past to the present. ( as of now)
4.) Where is your place?
My place is not a physical place. The place is addicition.
5.) Why do you feel a connection/ lack of connection to place?
I feel connected to this place because the story includes my sister, who is family, along with real life events.
6.) How do you show your audience your connection/ lack of connection to place?
I'm showing my audience my connection to this place through the tone of my genres, genres itself, and through the suspense.

Recap on workshop:
The workshop was very helpful and gave me guidance and advice to where I can go with my twitterive. The comments and feedback I received allowed me to explain my rationale and gain other perspectives and their thoughts of how I could create this story. I received very informative information that helps me better see where I want to take this story and how I actually want to portray this story to my audience. I also thought by having my group refer to the movie, " Black Swan." helped me how I want my audience to see this and to really think about my writing when reading this. After going over my twitterive with the group I am a little mor confident in my story but also nervous because I don't want to disappoint their expectations with my final twitterive. Overall, I received a lot of feeback and advice that will help me construct why I am doing this and how important this story is to me. THANKS GROUP! :)

For writing, research, and technology we are to create this multigenre piece about "place." Place can be either physically or mentally.  As, I began to tweet, I notice my tweets all have a comon trait, that is my twin sister Denise who we call Nise. Right before class began, I just flew home from being with her in California. I began to gather all my tweets and have collected the ones that all have the common interest, Nise. I don't want to let you know exacltey what I am writing about because I rather you guess what it's about. So, here is a outline of my ideas.
I. Prologue- introductory of my sister and the scenario
2- Letter from my sister/ video of sister
3- Webster defintion
4- Passage from book
5- Song lyrics
6- Serenity prayer
7- Poem
8- Letter from me to my sister/ video of me
9- obiturary
10- song
11- pictures will be throughout the narrative

Technology on WRT2

Technology played a huge role in building the health forms for which I played the ringside docor. In order for me to be able to  create a medical history of each contender I had to do research on what type of injuries a arm wrestling could cause on one. Along with the injuries I needed to also lok up types of enhancement or drugs the contenders could take that would effect their performance and whether or not they were legal or illegal. By having technology play a huge part in my role made me gather resources I needed that would later be reflected in my health forms I created. The format of the medical form also was from technology due to the fact I had to look up what a form looks like and a free tempalte to use. I checked other classmates blogs in order to gather some information about the contenders to include in my part. A huge part that technology helped with was when I needed to attach my document to weebly because I was having difficulty attacing it. Withouot being able to twitter classmates and look up information on attaching on the weebly I woouldnt of been able to attacah or share with other classmates. Technology played a major role in my contributions to this project and was a great resource and tool.

WRT2 and Multigenre

This project was a create and fun way of learning mutlgenre. This project incorporated the classmates to work together, interact with one, and help each other to produce one major creation. Each student played a different role in the title match which each classmate produced a different type of genre which created a multigenre project. Each classmate is responsibile to creae their own piece so if one is incomplete the whole proect could be unsuccessful. I also like this idea project because being a education major, I am always seeking new things to do when I have my own class or in my field experiences now. It shows that the students need towork together to produce a final project even thou each students work is their own and could be its own product without the others. This activity was a great way for us to see multigenre used in a fun interactive way with classmates along with learning different types of genres. I really enjoyed this activity more than when I was first introduced to it honestly.
